Oh, and before I look like the world's worst friend...

Maggie and I had a most lovely time doing dinner/ice cream/window shopping (because nearly everything downtown closes far too early!)/talking the other night.

Great to start catching up/etc. However, we need Betsy back in town ASAP so we can complete the trio before she gets herself to a nunnery... :hint hint nudge nudge:

I have Thursday/Sunday off Mags. We must plan something. Wanna come hang at our new church Sunday and we can grab something totally creative like a bagel afterwards?

Shirt of the week...

Considering "hanging" a pick of dear Ronnie around here somewhere and seeing if this theory works...
Reminds me- one of the guys of the Laura Ingraham show has a baby daughter named Reagan. I've filed that in my mental list for God knows how many years from now, lol.

Well, this was definately the MATURE way to handle this situation...

I'll try and make this the Last Coulter Update for awhile...

... but don't hold me to that, lol. ;)

Take a not so random guess at my answers... ;)

And really bad eggs...

Of course, they do this seven month too late so I don't get to see it while I'm on the ride...

Ann Coulter Wows Leno Audience

Liberals may hate Ann Coulter, but the folks in the audience of Jay Leno’s "Tonight Show” roared their approval of the controversial author when she was introduced on Wednesday night.

Asked by Leno to explain all the controversy surrounding her No. 1 bestselling book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," Coulter said: "Well, I wrote a book and liberals were hysterical. Every time I write a book liberals are hysterical. It happens all the time.”

Noting that Leno had joked about her the night before, saying that like the Wicked Witch in "The Wizard of Oz” she had a house fall on her as a result of her book, Ann countered: "I just dropped my house on the mainstream media.” The audience cheered....

Ann Coulter's 'Godless' Hits NY Times #1 Spot

Ann Coulter's latest book, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism" will debut at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list for nonfiction on June 25, 2006, reflecting an extraordinary first week of sales.

This will mark Ann's fifth New York Times bestseller book.

In her completely original and thoroughly contentious work, Coulter argues, "Liberals love to boast that they are not ‘religious,’ which is what one would expect to hear from the state-sanctioned religion. Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as ‘religion.’”

:happy dance:

Anyone who actually stopped by and noticed I updated this thing for practically the first time this year... Don't you have something better to do??

Lol, jk! ;)

Anyways, new Ann book out on the 6th, and I got it from the library pretty much that day (I put in a request for it the minute I found out she was writing a new book months ago because, as you know, when I grow up, I want to BE Ann Coulter.)

Didn't have time to finish it in one sitting, but it was definately the first 24 hours I had it, easy.

Now, all I need to do is actually buy one, so I can highlight all over it to my heart's content. :)

#1 on Amazon already, etc, etc. Best of her books so far- close call to How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must): The World According to Ann Coulter which is, quite frankly, amazing. I mean, there isn't much better then a book full of Ann columns, right? :)

Going to see Cars either tonight or tomorrow and Maggie is home soon, joy! :)

(Also, apparently, other people are crossing the Atlantic right about now. Safe travels to them, etc.)
