Har har! They always have witty sayings which make excellent bumper stickers, and away messages, if I weren't too lazy to actually make new away messages!

There is technically a thing known as "Christian feminism" but I have always been wary of even that strain. The entire philosophy is very attractive at the most primitive level in terms of really appealing to the victim chauvinism that is so common in our society -

(My group is more wonderful/more deserving of special treatment/etc. than yours! Not because we're actually better! But because we've suffered, and we're victims!)

Once you subject it to philosophical analysis, you can see that it is just a mass of contradictions. Not only in its claims, but more obviously, in its manifestations, like the feminists at NOW and NARAL and Planned Parenthood who display an utter disdain for that most feminine of human states, motherhood.

I'm sorry I'm goin' all novel-length philo-wacky on your blog. I feel a dense and unreadable post on my own blogvilla coming on ... arrrgh ... must resist ... gasping for air ... ;)

Good start to a nice long rant-post Mags, too bad I don't think you ever finished it, lol. I'd be interested in learning more about this group, if only to have the proper knowledge to talk smack about the later. ;) ;)
