...An excuse to go see movies like this on the midnight showing when they come out. ;)

(Covers up the fact that I simply have a 'thing' for penguins.)

    Should have been more pengiuns, much less UN. :gags:

    However, if they go back and cut the movie half an hour in, it's one of the cutest darn films I've ever seen.

    The rest of it doesn't even fit with the first part.

    I mean. KIDS MOVIE.

    And they called people 'aliens' who were stealing the penguins' fish... And then Kofi look alikes were involved... It was a total downward spiral.

    I mean, come on. The projected audience wouldn't even have recognized the freakin UN symbol, so putting in it was silly.

    (My mom and I kept giving each other eye rolls/disguested faces over my sister's head.)

    ...And I still can't see Hugh Jackman as a penguin. I'm more into the rough/tough blade swinging Wolverine/Van Helsing side of him.

    Tap dancing/baby penguins are still the ultimate in adorible, though. ;) ;)

    Tap-dancing penguins would normally be a redeeming quality for an animated movie, but this movie, based on what I have heard from those who have seen it, is far from redeemable. They should have included the disclaimer on their advertisements: "Waders Required," yes?
