Update-ish-type-thingie...

"That the Catholic Church fights for both lives bothers me. There is an obvious greater evil, and the resources of the Church should be marshaled against that evil. Once we're not killing babies, let's discuss capital punishment. But not until then. To do otherwise seems to betray a sense of moral confusion. "

Interesting point. And an issue that makes me politcal before I'm "organized religionist", you know?

In semi related news, my baby cousin, who's 14 (15?) weeks and due in mid-March. Aren't they (since my aunt/uncle don't want to know baby's sex before birth) cute????

87/80 hours for work the last two weeks. And I for some reason agreed to work 6/7 days next week, including closing 4 of those nights. (If they didn't take ALL my overtime plus some out intaxes, this would bother me less...) The HELL was I thinking when I ok'd my boss changing my schedule to this??

FEMALE PRAYER

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me to no end, A
nd always be my very best friend.
Amen.

MALE PRAYER

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs
Who owns a liquor store and a fishing boat.
This Doesn't rhyme and I don't give a sh*t.
Amen.

Can I got back in time and take math in the 1950's?

... Cause I think I woulda learned MORE then, lol!

(No offense to Swedey-bob... Since that's a WHOLE different kettle of fish...)

Last week I purchased a burger and fries at McDonalds for $3.58.

The counter girl took my $4.00 and I pulled 8 cents from my pocket and gave it to her. She stood there, holding the nickel and 3 pennies. While looking at the screen on her register, I sensed her discomfort and tried to tell her to just give me two quarters, but she hailed the manager for help. While he tried to explain the transaction to her, she stood there and cried. Why do I tell you this?

Because of the evolution in teaching math since the 1950s......

A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish and inconsiderate and cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our woodlands. He does this so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down their homes? (There are no wrong answers.)
